I have been reading African Centered Pedagogy and it has sparked many ideas for me such as Culturally Responsive Teaching. I definitely want my research to focus on improving the educational experience and academic achievements of African American Youth.

I have no idea what I want to research. I know of a general area that I would like to explore, but I need time to explore what I would like to do. I am certain that I want to do something of importance in the area of African American education. My first step will be to read "The Craft of Research".
